Dr. David Miller is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon located in Commack, New York. As an Oral Surgeon, Dr. Miller is trained to diagnose, treat and prevent diseases of the gums, teeth, and jaw. Some of the more common treatments Dr. Miller provides are dental extractions, removal of impacted teeth, bone grafts, dental implants, oral biopsies and IV sedation.
Dr. David Miller believes in the “team approach” to patient care. The team consists of the patient, their general dentist and the oral surgeon.
Dr. David Miller graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at SUNY Buffalo in 1990. Dr. Miller is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he works in the clinic with the dental students. He is on the staff of St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center as well as treating residents of St. Catherine Nursing Home and Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home.
Dr. Miller believes that it is important to give back to the community. In addition to his volunteer work at SUNY Stony Brook, Dr. Miller is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Commack – Kings Park. He has served as chairman of the Rotary Club’s blood drives, is a Past-President and as is currently the treasurer.
